Tried the diabetic plate!
Hey, everyone! Looking for perfect recipes to build a diabetic plate? Or to beat PCOS?
The diabetic plate consists of:
Half plate - non starchy vegetables
Quarter plate - protein
Quarter plate - carbohydrates
I've prepared this diabetic plate with sweet potato for carbohydrates, garlic black pepper chicken for protein and vegetable salad with non starchy vegetables.
The sweet potatoes and vegetables were steamed and not boiled to retain more nutrients.
Salad dressing:
Garlic
Lemon
Oil
Salt
Pepper
Coriander
Rosemary

Garlic black pepper chicken recipe:
Season the chicken with oil, salt and pepper. Pan fry it and proceed to add the sauce with the following ingredients:
Oyster sauce
Soy sauce
Black pepper
Garlic
Honey
Ketchup

I replaced the butter with oil due to my PCOS, and it works just fine! I also used chicken breasts instead of thighs and the recipe holds good!
